Early Evening Jazz: Adam Harder Nussbaum / Ted Olsen / Mike Wolter

NO COVER 4:30pm Show

Guitarist Mike Wolter, drummer Adam Harder Nussbaum, and bassist Ted Olsen will perform two sets of dinner jazz.

Adam Harder Nussbaum is a drummer and bandleader based in the Twin Cities. He performs with the Jake Baldwin Quartet, the Michael Cain Trio, Party Officials, and others.

Ted Olsen is a double bassist from Minneapolis, MN, with extensive experience as both a performer and composer. His compositions create bright moments of melody and harmonic color while still allowing for spontaneous interplay. Olsen’s music is steeped in jazz, but is not beholden to tradition—it is forward-looking, yet accessible.

Upon relocating to the Twin Cities, guitarist and composer Mike Wolter dug into a variety of the local music scenes, often working with musicians from both the preeminent vanguard and the eclectic fringe. He has become one of the area’s most sought-after guitarists and band leaders. In 2021, Wolter’s interest in the intersection of music and social change inspired him to repurpose a sizable grant he received from the St. Paul Arts Board for showcasing his music to include, and bring together, the varied musical acts from around town he admired while also raising several thousand dollars for local nonprofits working to better the community.
