Jamie’s life has always revolved around food. She grew up cooking and baking bread with her dad in St. Paul, MN. She has traveled extensively through Europe and Asia studying cuisines. In 2017, Jamie opened her first restaurant, Grand Café, which was a semifinalist for the James Beard Award Foundation’s 2018 Best New Restaurant award. Grand Café was also named Food & Wine magazine’s Best New Restaurant. Jamie is a four-time nominee for the James Beard Award Foundation’s Best Chef Midwest award. Recently, Malone created Paris Dining Club, a luxe meal delivery service and private event studio in the North Loop. You can find Jamie hosting events at Paris Dining Club and creating new experiences for people who love food.

Chef de Cuisine

Nathaniel Hodne

When Nathaniel was deciding where to attend culinary school, the unique music scene of the Twin Cities ultimately made him choose to start his career here in 2010. Nathaniel worked for a few of the most highly regarded fine dining establishments of St. Paul and Minneapolis before departing for the Pacific Northwest in 2019. He returned to Minneapolis after the pandemic because of his deep appreciation for the community and culture of the Twin Cities’ hospitality industry. Nathaniel is excited to be part of Berlin’s leadership team because of its goal to provide an inviting space for everyone to enjoy live performances.

Rich Henriksen had long dreamed about owning a music bar before Berlin became a reality. His upbringing in a large, hospitable, and musical family laid the foundation for his lifelong loves of music and bringing people together. Rich is also the CEO of Nokomis Health—a position he calls his “day job”—and the music director at a local church. He can be spotted most often with his beloved 15-year-old Pomeranian, Honey. He is grateful to offer Berlin as a place for the community to gather and experience hospitality, connection, and music.
