Frequently asked questions.

Does Berlin take reservations?

No, reservations are not needed or accepted. While most of our shows require a door cover or no cover, some events do require a ticket purchased in advance. See calendar for daily details.

Do you have food and a full bar?

Yes! Sample menus can be found here.

When is happy hour?

Happy hour is on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 4-6 p.m. and on Monday all day.

Where do you recommend we park?

Our next door neighbors at Porzana are happy to share their valet services with our guests. There is also metered street parking on all surrounding streets.

Are minors allowed?

Yes. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can you book my band at Berlin?

Shoot us a line at booking@berlinmpls.com. Please include a link to your music for consideration, and use the subject line “[Band Name] @ Berlin [Desired Date]” (for example, “Prince @ Berlin Feb. 2025”).

Note that we focus on jazz/experimental/instrumental music and are not generally able to book singer-songwriters.

The booking inbox receives an overwhelming amount of email, so please allow us two weeks to respond before following up. We do our best but may not be able to respond to all inquires.

I lost an item—can you see if I left it behind?

Please email info@berlinmpls.com with details.

Can I arrive early and hold a table for the rest of my group?

Due to Berlin’s small size, we can only seat complete parties. You are welcome to stand in the bar area and have a drink while you wait for the rest of your party.

Do shows start at the time listed, or is that when doors are?

The time listed is when music starts. Our doors open at 4 p.m. daily. Come early, as seating is first come, first served.

I bought tickets to a show but I can’t make it for the start. What should I do?

We will hold space for you for up to 30 minutes after the show starts. After that, we may sell your table to someone else. If you know you won’t be able to arrive within the first 30 minutes of the show, email info@berlinmpls.com to give us a heads-up, and we’ll see what we can do.

I can’t make the show I bought tickets for. Can I transfer my tickets to a friend?

Yes. Reach out to info@berlinmpls.com with your friend’s name and email, and we will make the transfer. Unfortunately, we are not able to refund tickets.

For sold-out shows, will day-of tickets be available at the door?

Potentially! There is a good chance that a handful of tickets will be sold at the door starting an hour before the show. These tickets may be standing room only.
