Breymer will celebrate the release of their third record, When I Get Through, with support TBD.
Breymer (FKA Sarah Walk) is an indie artist who is from Minneapolis and based in Los Angeles. On Oct. 18th, they will release When I Get Through with One Little Independent Records. The album is a strikingly honest exploration of their relationship with gender and identity; it tracks Walk’s experience of top surgery, from making the decision to the process itself.
Breymer utilizes a rich array of instrumentation elevated by a standout vocal performance, raw lyricism, and textured production by Grammy winning Tyler Chester. Exquisite, layered vocal harmonies across the record enforce its reflective themes, and at times the conversation seems to be internal, with much of the record posing questions such as “Am I better now?”, “Am I on the wrong path?”, “Who am I?”.
