Crates is a vinyl listening party. Every Thursday at 10 p.m., we’ll unwrap a new release or experience an old favorite, played loud over Berlin’s d&b PA.
This week’s selection is Big Science (1982) by Laurie Anderson, the record that established her as an avant-garde icon. The album explores identity, technology, and the future through expressionist intonations and trance-like rhythms. For fans of David Byrne, Ornette Coleman, and Holly Herndon.
