BRAINGIVER is a musical organization based in Minneapolis with international membership. Performing at the Skull Sundays residency are founding members Alex Nutter, Carter Konz, Aaron Baum, and Ethan Hansen. The first night of BRAINGIVER’s March residency will feature powerhouse DeCarlo Jackson: bass guitar/trumpet multi-talent and fixture of the local music scene with his bands HEYARLO and Hippo Campus. DeCarlo will join BRAINGIVER in a mostly improvised electronic adventure after BRAINGIVER opens the night.
Alex Nutter is known for being the newest member of Poliça, performing with Marijuana Deathsquads, and producing and playing live with Sid Sriram—a band that Aaron Baum also performs with, in addition to playing keys for Papa Mbye and being one of the most beloved sound techs in town. Carter Konz is known for his solo pop/R&B catalog as vlush as well as for producing and recording for Alex Banin, Kinfu, and Papa Mbye. Ethan Hansen is an enigmatic producer and brilliant keyboardist known for production work (Lady Midnight, Dizzy Fae) and performing with Corbin.
