“Adventurous, but always melodic…Terracciano plays with Joe Venuti’s grace and Zbigniew Seifert’s swagger.” – Ian Patterson, AllAboutJazz.com

Gabe Terracciano is a Grammy-nominated violinist, composer, and arranger from New York City. With a passion for jazz, bluegrass, and world music, Terracciano has garnered recognition for his exceptional talent and versatility as a musician. He is known for his captivating performances, innovative compositions, and dynamic improvisational skills. As the leader of the Gabe Terracciano Group, he showcases his unique musical vision, blending diverse influences to create a distinct, compelling sound. Terracciano's contributions to the jazz scene have solidified his reputation as a rising star and an innovative voice amidst the current crop of jazz violin luminaries.

In his lifelong pursuit of music, Greg Byers has overcome countless obstacles in order to become an idiosyncratic performer, composer, educator, and producer. Greg started playing cello at the Family Suzuki School of Rochester, NY, at age 2.5. By age 16, he was a talented cellist but was frustrated with the lack of personal expression he found in youth orchestras; this led Greg to explore the possibilities of the cello in a jazz context. He became the first Frost School of Music graduate to double major in instrumental performance and studio music and jazz on cello and bass.

After working in the Miami music scene, Greg decided to explore opportunities in Los Angeles. LA taught him the importance of viewing music from the perspective of not only the performer, but also the composer, music engineer, and business person. He applied these skills to his debut EP, Some Dark, Beautiful Morning. Greg decided to continue his higher learning at McNally Smith College of Music in Saint Paul, where he earned a Master of Music Performance degree. Now a resident of the historic A-Mill Artist Lofts of Minneapolis, Greg maintains a busy schedule, juggling original and freelance performances, a private cello/bass studio, and recording and production services. His recent career highlights include performing with Terence Blanchard & the Turtle Island Quartet, becoming a faculty member at Carleton College, and receiving the 2022 Creative Support for Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
