Enter a labyrinth of dark drums and sinister synths at Berlin this Halloween. Veteran selectors DJ CGW and Angelica will take turns spinning shivers down your spine from 7-11 p.m. Costumes welcome.
DJ CGW (aka Collin Gorman Weiland) is a curator, performing artist, and producer based in North Minneapolis. With an extensive catalog collaborating, creating, and/or performing in projects such as Burning, Geiger Counter, Food Pyramid, Leisure Birds, and Daughters of the Sun (as well as an eccentric solo career), CGW’s output has gravitated toward the audio spectrum of hallucinatory, challenging, raw, danceable, and heartfelt in both emotion and technological tact. His DJ efforts will be dance adjacent and enticingly mutant sound actions.
Angelica has been a fixture of the underground dance music scene in Minneapolis for the past decade. A founder of Deeper, a current member of ACME Collective, and host of Dungeon Synth Sundays, she considers no corner of music too arcane or too mainstream. Her DJ sets skew heavily otherworldly, and you can expect to be transported elsewhere for this one.
